House Of Darwin
Hoop Dreams

The Brief

House of Darwin were invited to showcase their Hoop Dreams program at Nike HQ in Australia—a project that helps refurbish basketball courts in remote Indigenous communities across the Northern Territory. They needed something small but powerful to leave behind. Something that told the story, felt true to their roots, and could be picked up, read, and passed on.

The Execution

We kept it simple and lo-fi: a zine that could be printed anywhere, by anyone, on a standard office printer if needed. For the Nike pop-up, we dialled it up a notch and printed it on fluro orange stock—a nod to the red dirt and bold colours of the Territory. The zine sat alongside artwork by Indigenous artist Shal and felt like a natural extension of the Hoop Dreams story. No gloss, no fuss—just something honest and real that carried the message beyond the event.
